accessibility statement

At myspaceprodesigns.com, we have tried and will continue to try to provide accessibility features to help our users with disabilities. We are still building our tabindexes and labels for our generators and comment submissions, as our site has recently been redesigned with lots of new features, but they should be ready soon. In addition, we will soon be adding a stylesheet switcher in order to allow our users to change font sizes and colors for their individual needs.

standards compliance

myspaceprodesigns.com follows the most recent design and accessibility standards. We separate all presentention from content and our site is void of deprecated elements. We only use inline styles in a few select inputs in our generators sections to allow users to view the styles of individual options and in a few of our tutorials to show users what each style does. In addition, our site is designed with Semantic Markup to allow each page to be read and indexed in a logical manner. Our pages are designed to meet W3C CSS-3 and XHTML 1.1 compliance. In addition, our site is designed to meet WCAG 2.0 and US Section 508 guidelines.

All of our images are marked with alt and title tags in case of partial loading or for users with images disabled. Title tags are marked on links where applicable and image based links are not used except where needed. No links on this site will open new browser windows except for the help link in our div overlay generator. All javascript has noscript tags associated with it and disabling of java in a browser will not affect content generation. All dynamic content other than advertisements are generated via server-side scripting.

If you find any errors on this site, we hope you will Contact Us and let us know so we can correct them.

tab indexes and accesskeys

We have worked hard on putting our tabindexes into a logical order so forms may be accessed easily. Tabindexes will follow the accessibility link followed by all form elements, then jump back to the top horizontal menu, links within content, left menu links, then right menu links. Accesskeys are used on all menu and navigation links and can be used by pressing ALT + NUMBER/LETTER or ALT + SHIFT + LETTER in certain browsers (such as Firefox 2).

Tab Indexes
1 - Accessibility
2 - Site Search
3 - Site Search Submit
On all other pages containing forms, tabindexes starting at 4 will be followed in order from top to bottom on the form.
